Job Description
The role of the Cone Health Medical Group Director includes ensuring the sustained performance outcomes of a specific cluster of practices or a healthcare division. Additionally, the Director is tasked with overseeing ongoing ventures concerning the introduction and maintenance of practices, encompassing communication and operational execution.
Essential Job Function:
- Boosting staff engagement and skill enhancement: Fostering the commitment and advancement of CHMG practice leaders and healthcare providers.
- Encompasses activities such as hiring, coaching, and cultivating bonds to support CHMG's goals and beliefs.
- Implements proven strategies such as appraisals, team conferences, provider assemblies, and check-ins to guarantee the accomplishment of goals.
- Capable Leader: Shows aptitude in meeting the system requirements outlined for Director Leadership Competencies.
- This may include : system-wide meetings, webinars, and other forms of communication such as email, etc Employs multiple communication modes tkeep CHMG practices informed of system developments/initiativesFinancial/Resource Manager: Understands and uses tools available (financial reports, OA reports, VitalStats, etc) tenable practices tcreate value for our patients.
- Monitor and handle budgetary concerns and the budgeting process.
- Conveys financial details in a manner that is informative and accessible.
- Executes necessary steps when there is a divergence between actual financial results and the projected plan.
- Comprehends provider payment strategies and correctly administers rewards.
- Quality and Safety Leader: Implements proven strategies to achieve CHMG and CH Quality objectives.
- The Service Leader prioritizes viewing the patient as the focal point and motivation behind every task within the organization.
- Uses methods to attain the utmost level of customer contentment and anticipates the same from the team.
- This entails getting all staff and providers actively involved in meeting the needs of patients by utilizing satisfaction measures and feedback from patients.
- Visionary leader with a knack for innovation: Implements cutting-edge and original strategies to enhance operations and achieve goals for CHMG and Cone Health.
- Success is attained through ongoing self-growth and a readiness to think beyond one's immediate scope of work.
- Takes advantage of opportunities such as MGMA, Icare, leadership training, and committee involvement to enhance learning and personal growth.
- Implements development methodologies and techniques to further improve proficiency and promote ongoing advancement.

Education
- REQUIRED:Bachelor's in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field, required.
- Graduate Degree in Business, Finance or Health Care Administration or related field (in progress or completed), required.
Experience
- REQUIRED:Minimum of 5 years in physician practice management and/or management in Healthcare - Healthcare Administration.
- PREFERRED10+ years practice management experience.
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- REQUIRED MGMA CMPE or attained within 36 months of hire
