Job Description
Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is tasked with administering superior patient care and guaranteeing favorable patient consequences by utilizing nursing expertise with compassion and efficacy. Under broad supervision, this role advances professional nursing standards by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews patient requirements and medical status within the allocated unit to provide individualized nursing interventions that cater to each patient's distinct care needs.
- Assesses patient data, encompassing medical background, test results, and ongoing condition, to formulate personalized nursing care plans.
- Confirms medical records for accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
- Observing patient responses to interventions and identifying any extra interventions necessary to reach established care objectives. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the efficacy of care planning.
- Accomplishes other tasks as required.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
