This position encompasses 2nd/3rd shift openings for Environmental Services at Moses Cone, Wesley Long
The Environmental Service Technician is responsible for sanitizing and decontaminating patient rooms, treatment rooms, washrooms, and common areas according to the hospital's service requirements. This position operates under strict supervision and aims to safeguard against illnesses by following the cleanliness and infection control guidelines set by regulatory bodies outside the hospital.
Responsibilities:
Documents were utilized to detail the completion of cleaning duties in the correct paperwork forms for accurate item recording.
Effectively communicating with the supervisor ensures that they are regularly updated on one's current tasks and able to address any pressing matters promptly.
Helps oversee inventory levels to ensure alignment with departmental supply requirements and financial objectives.
Assists in upholding the tidiness and proper operation of tools and storage spaces in order to facilitate smooth departmental activities.
Manages the treatment and eradication of carpet stains proactively to uphold a tidy environment for visitors and individuals requiring care.
Helps in choosing and utilizing cleaning products and tools to prevent harm and efficiently clean to lower the chance of sickness.
Executes additional tasks as required.
