Overview:
The Nurse Aide Certified role involves collaborating to assess patient care requirements to deliver suitable and effective treatment. With minimal oversight in typical scenarios, this position records patient care details, implements suggestions, manages patient care duties, and ensures precise record-keeping.

Responsibilities:
Monitors and communicates any shifts in patient conditions or behaviors to the Registered Nurse for prompt adjustments to the treatment regimen.
Reacts to both spoken and unspoken cues from individuals with mental health conditions to convey empathy and address their requirements effectively.
Conducts educational sessions for patients.
Delivers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse, including monitoring vital signs, checking blood glucose levels, conducting EKG tests, transporting patients using wheelchairs or stretchers (excluding those needing EKG monitoring), bathing, rotating, and repositioning patients, supporting patients with walking, and aiding in meeting their elimination requirements.
Carries out additional tasks as required.

Required:
Successfully complete BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire date.
Current good standing with the NC Nurse Aide Registry verified through DFS
