Overview:

The Manager Health and Fitness leads a team of fitness experts and supervises the development and implementation of fitness and well-being schemes for patrons of the Medical Fitness Center. This pivotal role is essential in the center's triumph by establishing objectives, formulating tactics, and ensuring staff members adhere to guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Manages and mentors an ensemble of fitness experts, encompassing health fitness specialists, educators, and coaches, by assigning responsibilities, analyzing progress, and providing recommendations.
Plans and coordinates fitness programs, such as personalized training and group workouts, that are tailored to meet operational objectives.
Establishing a method to sustain membership at the Medical Fitness Center through tracking utilization and carrying out fitness assessments for the complete member base to hit financial targets.
Directs an internal process for rectifying machine and exercise equipment glitches to expedite equipment maintenance and boost member satisfaction.
Promotes the development of a variety of fitness seminars, workshops, and incentive-focused exercise activities by the fitness staff to encourage participation.
Implements tactics to enhance involvement levels in diverse fitness activities and programs.
Completes tasks as directed by superiors.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Required:
A nationally accredited certification from a recognized organization or equivalent specialty certification such as ACE, ACSM, AEA, WaterArt, IFTA, AFAA, or Yoga Alliance
BLS/CPR certified by the American Red Cross of AHA Healthcare provder
