The Lifeguard plays a crucial role in maintaining water safety protocols for individuals using the pool facilities. They work under strict supervision to uphold a clean and secure pool atmosphere, promoting the pool's use for physical exercise, unwinding, and recreational purposes.
Responsibilities:
Monitors pool attendees engaging in open swim, lap swim, or planned events to uphold a secure environment.
Imposing pool guidelines to enhance safety measures and taking action during critical emergencies.
Promotes the execution of routine opening and closing protocols, which involve tasks like conducting chemical tests, supervising pool occupancy, and powering down all operational equipment.
Educates individuals on essential water safety guidelines, swimming methods, and advancing stroke mechanics for skill enhancement.
Assisting in the promotion of fitness programs and ensuring the upkeep of equipment and cleanliness in the aquatic department.
Executing any other responsibilities as delegated.
