Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Hospital supports the Registered Nurse or healthcare provider in a hospital setting to provide high-quality patient care. Working under close supervision, this role develops and implements hospital-based care plans and prepares equipment for procedures across the organization's hospital systems.
Responsibilities:
Contributing to the care team entails collecting patient history and medical data to ensure comprehensive case documentation is included in hospital medical records.
Assists in formulating and carrying out care plans as instructed by the Registered Nurse or healthcare professional to meet the needs of individuals receiving treatment in a medical facility.
Affirms the conformance to Cone Health policies on sterile environments by practicing appropriate safety measures and techniques.
The transmission of health care instructions to patients and families is essential for ensuring that the care plan is properly understood and adhered to.
Supports in addressing critical situations and safety concerns by utilizing protective gear and healthcare protocols to safeguard patients from harm.
Undertakes any other assigned duties.
