Overview:
The LPN Hospital plays a crucial role in supporting the Registered Nurse or healthcare provider in a hospital setting to ensure high-quality patient care. Under close supervision in this position, care plans specific to the hospital are developed and implemented, along with the preparation of equipment for procedures throughout the organization's hospital systems.
Responsibilities:
Contributing to the care team entails collecting patient history and medical data to ensure comprehensive case documentation is included in hospital medical records.
Assists in the development and implementation of care strategies as guided by the Registered Nurse or medical practitioner to cater to the needs of individuals receiving treatment in a healthcare setting.
Verifies that safety precautions and proper methods align with Cone Health standards for maintaining sterility.
Delivering health care instructions to patients and their families is essential in order to provide clear guidance on the care plan.
Contributes to managing emergencies and safety hazards by employing personal protective equipment and hospital safety measures to prevent patient harm.
Fulfills supplementary tasks as needed.
