Overview:
The role of a Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is to provide nursing assistance and assist in evaluating the medical needs of patients in a clinic. You'll work closely with other healthcare professionals to document patient data, collect recommendations, and complete various administrative tasks that contribute to the provision of excellent healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
Assisting medical practitioners in delivering quality care is a crucial responsibility of healthcare aides, who perform a range of duties like preparing examination rooms, recording vital signs, and updating medical histories and patient records.
Reviews and carries out healthcare provider's recommendations, which can include medication orders, tests, and referrals, to guarantee their accuracy and prompt completion.
Offers patient education and care by explaining treatment options, medications and post-treatment instructions, and providing answers to any queries or concerns.
Undertakes various administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate patient documentation, managing medical inventory, and contributing to the management of billing and insurance claim procedures.
Assists healthcare providers by offering vital insights into patient medical history during consultations and visits.
Undertakes tasks as designated by higher authority.

Required:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure: Successfully pass NC Nursing Boards for LPN and maintain a current and continuous unrestricted LPN License.
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
