Overview:
As a vital part of the hospital team, the LPN Hospital helps the Registered Nurse or healthcare provider offer excellent patient care within the hospital, following close supervision. Tasks include developing and implementing care plans that cater to the hospital's requirements and ensuring equipment readiness for procedures conducted throughout the hospital systems.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the care team in documenting comprehensive case details by collecting patient history and medical information in hospital records.
Engages in the creation and execution of care plans in accordance with the directives of Registered Nurses or healthcare professionals to fulfill the needs of patients being treated in a hospital.
Verifies the implementation of correct techniques and safety precautions as outlined in Cone Health guidelines for maintaining sterile conditions.
Transmits healthcare instructions to patients and families with the objective of making the care plan information clear and accessible.
Collaborates in addressing emergencies and safety concerns by adhering to personal protective measures and hospital precautions to ensure the safety of patients.
Performs any other tasks as directed.
