Overview:
The LPN Hospital assists the Registered Nurse or healthcare professional in a hospital environment to deliver high-caliber patient care, operating under supervision. Duties encompass the development and execution of care plans specifically designed for the hospital setting and the preparation of equipment for procedures across the hospital systems.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the care team requires gathering patient history and medical information to create detailed case documentation in hospital records.
Collaborates with healthcare providers and Registered Nurses to devise and put into action care plans that align with the individual requirements of patients undergoing treatment in a hospital.
Validates the observance of Cone Health policies on sterile environments by implementing the necessary techniques and safety precautions.
Delivers healthcare instructions to patients and their families in an easily understandable manner to facilitate adherence to the care plan.
Plays a role in responding to emergencies and safety issues by using personal protective gear and healthcare guidelines to prevent harm to patients.
Engages in other responsibilities as deemed necessary.
