Overview:
The Supply Chain Manager oversees the movement of products, materials, and data necessary for the smooth functioning of the supply chain to meet hospital objectives and performance metrics. With minimal oversight, this position aids various departments within Operative Services in recognizing, strategizing, and executing enhancements to operations and expenses with the aim of maintaining peak efficiency for the hospital and its departments.
Responsibilities:
Supervises the prompt and effective acquisition of resources, financial assets, top-notch client support, personnel growth, and financial projection.
Oversees and guides the full scope of operating room inventory management to guarantee positive patient experiences.
Oversees the operational metrics of suppliers and reports on them to assess their capacity to fulfill hospital needs.
Constructs sourcing and negotiation plans that meet business goals and establish enduring partnerships with suppliers.
Oversees and executes plans to enhance team members' forecasting precision and evaluates forecast results against actual performance.
Coordinates yearly procurement of new capital equipment while also working with management to detect and eliminate surplus and outdated capital assets in an effort to cut expenses.
Oversees the management and coordination of contracts with suppliers and relevant divisions.
Carries out additional tasks as required.
