Overview:
The Nursing Secretary - Monitor Technician NT is responsible for supporting the Registered Nurse by carrying out essential care duties and clerical tasks. This position involves monitoring cardiac rhythms and alerting the Registered Nurse promptly about any changes while working under direct supervision.
Responsibilities:
Assists patients in performing everyday duties like bathing and grooming to assist in their recovery.
Carries out hourly rounds consistently to fulfill the needs of each patient in the unit, proactively addressing potential concerns and providing support in response to requests for assistance.
Supports the Registered Nurse by monitoring vital signs and notifying promptly of any fluctuations or developments.
Renews stocks and materials to ensure readiness for the efficient functioning of the team each day.
Dispenses food and additional nutrients to clients to uphold their nutritional needs according to the prescribed treatment regimen.
Effectively marking and monitoring patients prone to falls plays a significant role in reducing the likelihood of injury.
Keeps patient records, including logs and identifiers, to ensure effective and detailed correspondence with healthcare professionals.
Executes any other responsibilities as delegated.

Good standing as Nurse Aide I with the North Carolina Division of Facilities Services.
