Job Description
Overview:
The Supervisor Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing and supervising the lower-level staff involved in patient care activities. This position involves overseeing care tasks, coordinating processes, and evaluating patient outcomes and the quality of care provided.
Responsibilities:
Supervises and directs the activities of subordinate staff members engaged in providing patient care services, ensuring compliance with quality measures and regulatory requirements.
Manages the coordination of patient care services to guarantee a smooth delivery of care and meet patient needs effectively.
Oversees the provision of patient care to ensure it adheres to quality standards and promotes patient well-being.
Examines the evaluation of patient results and measures of the quality of care, aiming to enhance performance and maintain superior service provision.
Administers patient care services and offers guidance to support well-informed choices and optimal patient results.
Carries out additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSN)
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- 2 years as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
