Job Description
In the role of a Project Manager, the individual takes the lead in directing and supervising the advancement and alignment of projects. With moderate direction, this position coordinates project tasks with different team members within and outside the organization, ensures team commitment to fulfilling specific project components, and supervises numerous projects concurrently.
Essential Job Function:
- Project Planning, Scheduling & Execution: Creating, arranging, and executing novel ventures that are in harmony with the strategic objectives and vision of the organization to enhance patient welfare.
- Defining project scope encompasses clarifying the boundaries and aims of a project, establishing objectives, setting timelines, and assigning available resources.
- Effective team leadership is defined by the skill to inspire and drive a team towards the successful attainment of project targets.
- Financial Control: Manages project finances by monitoring budget allocations, tracking costs related to supplies, machinery, and outsourced operations, and maintains a close partnership with the financial division to ensure adherence to monetary guidelines and optimize project efficiency.
- Detects deviations in expenses and enacts adjustments to ensure budget compliance.
- Communication management requires working closely with project sponsors to create organized meeting outlines.
- Demonstrates exceptional skills in conveying information through both written and verbal means to reach a wide audience.
- Supports interactions and fosters robust relationships with stakeholders, such as hospital sections, healthcare professionals, suppliers, and regulatory entities, to tackle project-related issues and secure essential endorsements.
- Creates a document control and information management platform aimed at organizing and monitoring project-related content, tasks, and updates collectively.
- Oversight of Progress: Watches over the development of a project, pinpointing any emerging challenges, and intervening proactively to manage and accomplish short- and long-range targets effectively.
- Risk & Issue Management aims to recognize potential hazards, devise strategies to minimize their effects, and actively oversee risks as the project progresses.
- Shows the skill to address and troubleshoot problems that can emerge in the course of project implementation.
- Quality control guarantees that final project outputs align with specified quality benchmarks and conditions.
- Delivers technical and analytical support that adheres to established standards and/or further educational requirements for the project team.
- Undertakes any other responsibilities as instructed.
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's Degree.
Experience:
- Required: 5 years
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Project Management Certification.
