Job Description
Overview:
The RN Per Diem plays a critical role in ensuring successful patient outcomes by providing quality care and utilizing nursing knowledge and expertise. Working in collaboration with the healthcare team, this role seeks guidance from senior medical staff to address complex cases and deliver the highest level of patient care possible during their scheduled shifts.
Responsibilities:
Contributes to the delivery of compassionate, patient-centered care by assisting healthcare professionals in various aspects of patient assessment, examination, and treatment.
By analyzing patient information, healthcare professionals can make well-informed decisions about medical care and treatment.
Assists in implementing recommended medical interventions and treatments with a focus on strict protocol adherence and the safety of patients.
Promotes better patient outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to facilitate communication and coordination of care.
Consulting with experienced healthcare practitioners for advice and input when grappling with intricate patient cases and challenging healthcare settings, with the objective of delivering outstanding care to patients.
Takes on extra tasks as instructed.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- 1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
