Job Description
The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care in a clinic setting. Under close supervision, this role works with physicians or APP providers to maintain a safe and efficient clinic environment through established clinical processes and protocols. The Clinic RN also handles administrative tasks as needed, including reconciling patient records, physician notes, diagnostic reports, and treatment plans.
Essential Job Function
- Reviews clinical procedures, protocols, and practices to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Delivers direct patient care by performing thorough assessments, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patient conditions to support optimal health outcomes.
- Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality care delivery and professional development.
- Works with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, enhance communication, and ensure continuity of care across various healthcare settings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
