Job Description
This position involves delivering excellent patient care and securing successful patient outcomes by effectively applying nursing expertise with compassion and proficiency. With general oversight, the Registered Nurse (RN) encourages professional nursing standards by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and working closely with a range of healthcare professionals.
Essential Job Function
- Evaluates the needs and health conditions of individuals in the assigned department to deliver optimal nursing assistance and ensure that all patients receive the necessary care.
- Reviews patient records, including medical histories and diagnostic outcomes, to formulate personalized nursing care plans.
- Executes nursing protocols, like giving medications and interventions, to ensure holistic and successful patient management.
- Verifies the accuracy and adherence to regulations and company policies in medical records reconciliation.
- Examines the way patients respond to interventions and pinpoints any extra measures required to fulfill predetermined care targets.
- Partners with a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive care plans.
- Undertakes any other assigned responsibilities.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 1 year as a Registered NursePreferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
