As a Registered Nurse (RN), the main responsibility is to provide exceptional patient care and secure positive patient outcomes through the empathetic and effective application of nursing expertise. Operating under broad supervision, this role advances professional nursing practices by managing patient care through the nursing process and fostering collaboration among different specialties.
Responsibilities:
Reviews patient conditions and requirements in the assigned unit in order to provide nursing care that is tailored to each patient's needs and ensure proper attention is given to all.
Evaluates patient information, which incorporates medical backgrounds, diagnostic reports, and current well-being, to formulate customized nursing care plans.
Carries out nursing procedures like medication delivery and treatment application to provide thorough and effective patient care.
Checks medical records for accuracy and compliance with both regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Assessing the patient's response to interventions and identifying any additional measures required to meet defined care goals.
Partners with an interdisciplinary care team to optimize the planning of patient care.
Completes tasks beyond regular assignments.
