Job Description
Overview:
The Supervisor Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing and supervising lower-level staff involved in patient care duties. This position includes overseeing care activities, coordinating tasks, and ensuring the analysis of patient outcomes and quality metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises and directs the activities of subordinate staff members engaged in providing care to patients, ensuring compliance with established quality measures and guidelines.
- Coordinates the delivery of patient care services with a focus on promoting smooth care provision and enhancing patient contentment.
- Oversees the patient care delivery process to uphold superior care quality and ensure patient safety.
- Assesses the examination of patient results and quality indicators in order to direct enhancements and maintain high standards of service provision.
- Oversees the delivery of patient care services and offers guidance to support well-informed choices and optimal patient results.
- Carries out additional tasks as required.
Education:
Required: Bachelor of Nursing (BSN).
Experience:
- Required: 2 years as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
