Job Description
Providing high-quality care in a clinic, the RN collaborates closely with physicians or APP providers to maintain a safe and efficient environment, following established clinical processes. This role also performs administrative work, ensuring consistency across patient records, physician documentation, diagnostics, and treatment plans.
Essential Job Function
- Monitors and reviews clinical practices to ensure conformity with regulatory standards and organizational expectations.
- Provides direct patient care; conducts comprehensive assessments, administers medications and treatments, and monitors patients' conditions to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Offers guidance, feedback, and support to junior staff while reviewing their work to ensure excellence in care delivery and career growth.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, facilitate communication, and promote continuity of care across different healthcare settings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
