Job Description
The Clinical RN Supervisor manages patient care processes and oversees staff performing care tasks. This role coordinates and supervises care activities while reviewing patient outcomes and quality-of-care metrics.
Essential Job Function
- Directs and supervises staff carrying out patient care tasks to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates patient care services, to ensure seamless care provision and patient satisfaction.
- Supervises the process of patient care delivery, to maintain a high standard of care and patient safety.
- Evaluates patient outcomes and care quality metrics to inform improvements and maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Manages patient care services and provides advice, to foster informed decision-making and best patient outcomes.
- Carries out additional responsibilities as needed.
Education
- Required: Bachelor of Nursing (BSN)
Experience
- Required: 2 years as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
