Job Description
A committed RN is responsible for delivering excellent patient care and achieving favorable outcomes by utilizing comprehensive nursing knowledge. In addition to demonstrating care through compassion and efficacy, this role coordinates healthcare through collaborative efforts with other clinicians.
The assessment of patient requirements and their medical state is vital to providing nursing care on the assigned unit, guaranteeing that each patient's care is customized and appropriate.
Develops nursing care plans that incorporate patients' medical history and diagnostic reports to provide highly individualized care.
Implements nursing techniques like drug delivery and remedial measures to ensure optimum patient well-being.
Examines healthcare records to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry and organizational requirements.
Assesses how patients react to interventions and determines whether further interventions are necessary to achieve their care objectives.
Cooperates with the care team to create a well-coordinated plan for patient care.
Executes additional responsibilities as directed.
EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's Degree
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
EXPERIENCE:
Registered Nursing experience of at least one year mandatory
ANCC or other nursing organizations want individuals applying for a specific clinical specialty to have worked in that field for one year or more
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required:
The ability to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or any state that is part of the Compact state agreement is a great opportunity for healthcare professionals
Although there are similarities between the two courses, such as the use of AEDs and CPR techniques, the AHA Healthcare Provider course is more comprehensive and includes additional topics such as treating opioid overdoses and providing resuscitation in special situations
