Responsibilities:
- Examines the patient's needs and health status to offer nursing care in the designated unit, ensuring that the direct and essential care is provided to each patient accordingly.
- Scrutinizes patient information, involving medical history, diagnostic outcomes, and current condition, to develop specific nursing care plans.
- Facilitates nursing protocols, including providing medication and therapies, to deliver holistic and impactful patient assistance.
- Ensures the accuracy of medical records for compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Assessing patient responses to treatments and pinpointing any additional actions required to reach determined care goals.
- Carries out any other assigned responsibilities as needed.
Education:
- Required: Associate's degree in nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Experience:
- Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse.
- Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
EXPERIENCE:
The position of a Registered Nurse demands a one-year tenure in the profession
Fulfilling a one-year requirement in a clinical specialty as recognized by ANCC or national nursing entities is mandatory
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required:
Being licensed as an RN in North Carolina or a state that is included in the Compact Nurse Licensure Compact
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
