Job Description
Overview:
The clinical social worker at the clinic offers counseling and support to individuals and their families dealing with illnesses by using different methods across all service areas. This role works with a team of healthcare professionals to assist patients with both psychological and physical health conditions.
Responsibilities:
Offers clinical support to patients and their families, addressing their psychosocial and medical requirements for the present and the future.
Conducts psychosocial evaluations for patients with the aim of comprehending their circumstances and connecting them with suitable care options based on their medical and social conditions.
Supporting patients emotionally and offering comfort to both the patient and their loved ones aids in creating a sense of ease for the patient, facilitating their navigation through the healthcare system within the organization, and delivering assistance throughout the entire process.
Provides support to individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions or those with emerging psychiatric requirements to maximize their success within the healthcare system of the organization.
Utilizes a range of counseling and therapeutic strategies to create a sense of comfort for the patient and their family regarding clinical and medical procedures.
Carries out additional tasks as required.

- Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in a health-related environment
