The Certified Nurse Aide role involves aligning with patient care requirements to deliver suitable and effective care. This position operates with minimal oversight in standard scenarios, where responsibilities include recording patient care data, implementing suggestions, managing care duties, and upholding precise records.

A Certified Nursing Assistant works in a certified nursing facility providing direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role of a Certified Nursing Assistant is to assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Certified Nursing Assistants play a crucial role in the healthcare team by providing basic care and support to patients who are unable to care for themselves
CNA, Nurse Aid, and Nurse Tech roles are all essential positions in the healthcare industry
Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions are available
The talent pool: Certified Nursing Assistant refers to a group of individuals who have acquired the certification necessary to work as nursing assistants
Responsibilities:
Monitors and communicates any alterations in patient conditions and actions to the Registered Nurse for adjustments to be made to the treatment regimen.
Acknowledges both spoken and unspoken cues from individuals with mental health conditions to engage in compassionate communication and address their requirements effectively.
Leads educational sessions for patients.
Assisting patients as directed by the Registered Nurse includes taking vital signs, checking blood sugar levels, conducting electrocardiograms, transferring patients using a wheelchair or stretcher (excluding EKG monitoring), helping with bathing, repositioning, and turning patients, supporting patients in walking, and aiding with their toileting needs.
Undertakes additional responsibilities as required.

Required:
Successfully complete BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire date.
Current good standing with the NC Nurse Aide Registry verified through DFS https://www.ncnar.org/verify_listings1.jsp
Must have reliable transportation with adequate insurance as determined by the organization.
