Overview:
Within the hospital environment, the LPN Hospital plays a crucial role in supporting the Registered Nurse or healthcare professional to provide quality patient care. Responsibilities include crafting and implementing care plans under direct supervision and organizing procedure equipment across the hospital's systems.
Responsibilities:
Contributing to the care team by accumulating patient history and medical data for the purpose of maintaining complete case documentation in hospital records.
Assists in formulating and executing care plans under the guidance of the Registered Nurse or healthcare professional to fulfill the needs of patients being treated in a hospital.
Upholds Cone Health standards for sterile environments by implementing appropriate techniques and safety precautions.
Transmits health care information to patients and families in a manner that ensures the clarity of instructions for the care plan.
Assists in responding to emergencies and mitigating safety hazards by utilizing personal protective equipment and hospital safety precautions to prevent harm to patients.
Completes supplementary duties as instructed.
