Job Description
The ideal candidate for the Physiatrist position at Cone Health Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation would be a team player with a preference for experience, as they are welcomed to join the progressive PM&R team based in Greensboro. This role involves a harmonious combination of inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient treatment as part of a well-established, multi-faceted program.
Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital
More than 30 years of successful operation, this program is accredited by CARF, showcasing its excellence
A rehabilitation facility offering 49 inpatient beds known for its excellent patient approval ratings
Promoting an interdisciplinary team approach through cooperation
Comprehensive assistance from a team comprised of therapists (physical, occupational, and speech), nurses, advanced practice providers, social workers, and neuropsychologists is essential
Support systems that have been set up cater to those who have experienced a stroke, suffered a brain injury, undergone an amputation, or sustained a spinal cord injury
Outpatient Practice
The established group includes six physicians supported by advanced practice providers, as well as a pair of neuropsychologists who are steadily expanding their presence
Highly trained personnel specializing in assisting with clinical duties as well as administrative tasks
There are 11 rooms designated for exams and 2 rooms specifically for procedures at this facility
Processes and gear present at the site
On-site C-Arm and procedure suite installation
Varied procedural techniques encompassing spine injections, joint injections, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), and Botox administration for managing migraines
The integration of neuropsychological assessments and cognitive tests with ultrasound-guided medical procedures
