Job Description
The Manager Nursing manages a team of experienced professionals to deliver high-quality nursing services. This role oversees policy and strategy implementation for short-term results and leads the execution of key divisional, departmental, or cross-functional initiatives.
Essential Job Function:
- Manages a group of seasoned professionals to oversee the delivery of top-level services.
- Directs the execution of key divisional, departmental, or interdepartmental projects, establishing clear objectives, goals, and expectations to ensure effective communication and implementation.
- Instructs the team in developing and incorporating processes to ensure compliance with organizational regulations and industry best practices.
- Gives the green light to opportunities and recommendations for advanced practices, harnessing knowledge and insights to maximize outcomes and efficiency.
- Carries out supplementary tasks as specified.
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience:
- Required: 5 years as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
