Job Description
The RN is accountable for delivering high-quality care to patients and ensuring positive outcomes by applying nursing knowledge with compassion and efficiency. This position works under general oversight and advances professional nursing standards by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Essential Job Function
- Evaluates patient needs and health conditions for delivering nursing care in the assigned unit to make sure that each patient receives the necessary care promptly.
- - Assesses patient records, diagnostic outcomes, and ongoing health status to establish tailored nursing care strategies.
- Carries out nursing routines, such as giving medications and therapies, to offer complete and efficient care to patients.
- Ensures that medical records are in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies through reconciliation.
- Assessing the patient's response to treatments and recognizing the need for additional interventions to accomplish defined care goals.
- Cooperates with an interdisciplinary group to ensure efficient care plan implementation.
- Undertakes supplementary duties as instructed.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 1 year as a Registered NursePreferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
