Job Description
The Supervisor Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) oversees the processes and lower-level employees who work on patient care tasks. This role manages and coordinates care tasks, supervises the process, and reviews the analysis of patient outcomes and care quality metrics.
Essential Job Function
- Supervises and manages the tasks performed by junior employees involved in patient care duties, ensuring they meet quality requirements and adhere to regulations.
- Arranges patient care services in a manner that promotes continuity and satisfaction for the patient.
- Oversees the patient care delivery process with a focus on ensuring high care standards and patient safety.
- Evaluates the scrutiny of patient results and quality measures related to care to drive improvements and maintain the delivery of top-notch services.
- Oversees patient care services and gives counsel to facilitate knowledgeable choices and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Undertakes supplementary tasks as directed.
Education:
- Required: Bachelor of Nursing (BSN).
Experience:
- Required: 2 years as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
