Join our vibrant outpatient multi-disciplinary Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab team and play a key role in helping patients rebuild their strength and confidence. You'll work alongside a supportive group of professionals including exercise physiologists, respiratory therapists, and dietitians in a beautiful new space designed to enhance both patient care and staff experience. As part of our program, patients also benefit from Pritikin certified education workshops that focus on lifestyle changes, nutrition, and long term wellness, allowing you to help guide them toward sustainable, heart-healthy living. As a nurse on our team, you'll enjoy a balanced schedule with minimal weekend commitment just one Saturday every nine weeks with a flex day off during the week. The duty of the Registered Nurse (RN) involves providing high-caliber patient care and securing positive patient outcomes through the empathetic and proficient application of nursing expertise. With oversight, this position fosters professional nursing practice by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and collaborative efforts with various healthcare specialties.
Responsibilities:
Evaluates patient's needs and health conditions in the specified unit to administer appropriate nursing interventions that align with each patient's care needs.
Examines patient information, which includes medical history, diagnostic findings, and current health status, to craft personalized nursing care proposals.
Delivers effective and comprehensive patient care through nursing procedures like medication administration and treatments.
Ensures that medical records are in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies through a reconciliation process.
Assesses patient response to interventions and identifies any additional interventions necessary to reach defined goals of care.
Participates in interdisciplinary teamwork to ensure cohesive care planning processes.
Undertakes supplementary tasks as assigned.
