Overview:
The tasks of an NC Nurse encompasses examining, planning, carrying out, documenting, systematizing, categorizing, authorizing, overseeing, and coordinating the medical attention offered to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in compliance with the guidelines outlined in the NC Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities:
Identifies educational needs for patients and their families and implements teaching as appropriate.
Patient-centered care requires an understanding of each individual's unique needs and circumstances, including cultural beliefs, personal values, and socioeconomic status.
Strives for excellence in patient care by staying up-to-date on advances in the field and incorporating evidence-based practices whenever possible. Supports a culture of innovation and creative problem-solving.
Takes proportional and constructive steps towards conflict resolution, where necessary, to ensure a healthy working environment.

Experienced RN : One year of Acute Care RN experience is preferred. Hiring leader may consider other RN experience at their discretion.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
RN | Registered Nurse licensed in North Carolina or a Compact state.
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
PREFERRED
The following certifications are preferred and may be required within a certain timeframe of hire as defined by the specific nursing unit.
