Overview:
As a Radiologic Technologist in this position, the individual is responsible for maintaining regulatory and professional standards while exhibiting strong decision-making skills and collaborating with Radiology leadership, radiologists, and medical staff. The primary duties include conducting MR procedures in accordance with approved workflows and procedural protocols, demonstrating full knowledge of MR equipment, and administering contrast media under the established Radiology department protocols. Additionally, they must complete competencies through the Radiology department.
Responsibilites:
Follows established guidelines to conduct standard and specialized examinations in order to avoid the need for duplicate testing. Demonstrates examination efficiency as per established performance criteria.
Possesses a remarkable ability to execute all exams and essential paperwork flawlessly in CHL and PACS.
Demonstrates an unwavering commitment to promoting safety practices at all times and advocating for Just Culture, diligently following Two for Two protocols for accurate patient identification, implementing preventive measures to avoid falls and laterality errors, and consistently practicing ALARA principles to limit exposure to radiation.
Using the AIDET method, the service provider effectively communicated with customers, ensuring that they were fully informed and felt valued and respected throughout their interaction.
Helps to transport patients safely to their designated areas.
Qualifications:
To apply, you must have completed high school education or earned an equivalent qualification
An individual who has completed formal education training in Radiology, Imaging or a related field.

MR Technologists with one to two years of experience are preferred by healthcare employers
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
As an MRI technologist, you will work alongside other healthcare professionals, including radiologists and physicians, to provide the best possible patient care
ARMRIT(MR) | ARMRIT(MR)
Whether choosing the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association for BLS training, healthcare providers can feel confident in their ability to provide life-saving care to individuals in need
To operate as an MRI technician, one must hold and continuously maintain ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR) credentials.
