Overview:
The RN Specialty Coordinator is responsible for delivering patient care through the coordination of resources and technical assistance. This position involves developing, assessing, and supporting patient care with an emphasis on enhancing quality, improving efficiency, cutting costs, and engaging in collaborative problem-solving with various disciplines. Working closely with supervision, the RN Specialty Coordinator plays a crucial role in the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
Enhances the strategic achievements of the designated specialty through identifying chances for enhancing quality and reducing expenses.
Studies the effectiveness of various therapeutic approaches in complex patient scenarios to assess the outcomes of interventions and make necessary modifications to care strategies.
Assesses team achievements in relation to department objectives to offer valuable guidance and support.
Coordinates orientation, training, and professional growth initiatives within the department to ensure staff proficiency meets patient requirements.
Creates department timetables and organizes daily personnel assignments to maximize the flow of patients.
Carries out additional responsibilities as directed.
