Overview:
The MRI Technologist conducts MRI scans by utilizing a combination of magnetic field and radio waves to capture internal images of the patient's body. These scans are crucial for examining and detecting soft tissue-related illnesses like tumors and brain malfunctions. This position requires precision in image capturing and involves working closely with healthcare professionals to generate detailed diagnostic data for patient treatment.
Responsibilities:
Operates high-field strength magnets and associated machinery to create specialized radiographic images of specific anatomical regions through intricate procedures.
Evaluates patient medical records to establish the correct imaging settings for precise outcomes.
Operates and upkeeps sophisticated MRI machinery, following safety procedures and performing routine maintenance inspections to guarantee accurate and dependable imaging outcomes.
Collaborating with healthcare providers while conducting MRI scans, offers immediate imaging assistance to guarantee precise placement and excellent image resolution.
Maintains a record of all MRI scans and relevant details in Computerized Health Information (CHI) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), ensuring accurate billing and resolving any inconsistencies to optimize operations.
Carries out additional tasks as required.
