Job Description
In this position, the Registered Nurse (RN) offers top-tier patient care and secures successful patient results by applying nursing expertise with empathy and effectiveness under general guidance. Essential Job Function:
- Evaluates patient needs and circumstances in the assigned area to provide tailored nursing services and ensure optimal care delivery.
- Reviews patient records, including health records, test outcomes, and existing health status, to formulate personalized nursing care blueprints.
- Executes nursing protocols, including administering medication and treatments, to ensure holistic and impactful patient support.
- Aligns medical records with regulatory requirements and internal policies for precision and adherence.
- Examines how the patient is responding to interventions and recognizes the necessity for additional interventions to fulfill the established care goals.
- Engages with a multidisciplinary care team to guarantee coordinated care planning.
- Executes any other responsibilities given.
Education:
- Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience:
- Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse.
- Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or National Nursing Organizations.
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state and BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
