Overview:
A Manager Nursing guides a team of proficient staff members in offering excellent nursing care. They supervise the implementation of policies and strategies to achieve quick results and take charge of significant initiatives within the division, department, or across various functions.
Responsibilities:
Supervises a team of seasoned professionals to uphold the delivery of excellent services.
Drives the implementation of critical initiatives at the divisional, departmental, or cross-functional level by defining precise targets, objectives, and requirements for effective communication and delivery.
Leads the team in establishing and integrating practices that adhere to organizational guidelines and industry norms.
Supports proposals and options for better practices, using insights and information to enhance outcomes and efficiency.
Executes supplementary responsibilities as designated.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- 5 years as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
