Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care and ensures positive patient outcomes through the compassionate and efficient application of nursing knowledge. Working under general supervision, this role promotes professional nursing practice by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Essential Job Function:
- Examines patient needs and situations to provide nursing care within the specific unit, ensuring each patient is attended to properly and receives the required care.
- Scrutinizes patient information, such as medical history, test results, and current condition, to develop unique nursing care plans.
- Establishes nursing protocols, such as medication administration and therapies, to deliver thorough and effective patient support.
- Confirms that medical records are accurate and compliant with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Evaluating patient responses to interventions and identifying any further interventions needed to achieve defined care objectives.
- Engages in interdisciplinary teamwork to create effective plans for patient care.
- Executes extra duties as needed.
Education
- Required: Bachelor s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Pharmacy, or related field.
Experience
- Required: 5 years of experience in healthcare management, with a focus on population health management or care coordination. 3 years experience in value-based care, ACO s, or clinically integrated networks.
Licensure/Certification/Listing
