Job Description
A Registered Nurse (RN) on a per diem basis provides top-tier patient care by applying nursing knowledge and ensuring effective medical treatment for positive patient outcomes. This role closely collaborates with the healthcare team and seeks advice from senior medical professionals to handle challenging situations and ensure optimal patient care during designated daily shifts.
Essential Job Function:
- Aids in the process of patient assessments, examinations, and treatments to enhance the quality of personalized patient care as part of daily duties.
- Backs the examination of patient records to shape medical judgments, care blueprints, and steps taken.
- Supports the implementation of specified medical treatments and interventions to ensure precise compliance with protocols and enhance patient well-being.
- Engages with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support the exchange of information and streamline the coordination of care to enhance patient outcomes.
- Looks for direction and suggestions from seasoned healthcare professionals regarding complicated patient cases and demanding medical situations in order to ensure superior patient care.
- Executes any other responsibilities as delegated.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
