Overview:
The Senior Application Analyst offers advanced technical support for intricate clinical and business applications to enhance their functionality and align them with the organization's requirements. Operating independently, this position assesses user requirements, executes, enhances, maintains, and resolves issues with clinical and business applications. Additionally, the Senior Application Analyst mentors junior team members on challenging scenarios, problems, and topics.
Responsibilities:
Works together with both internal and external technical teams, as well as end users, to make sure that applications and third-party systems align with the organization's clinical and business requirements during the system development and implementation phases.
Provides advanced consulting services and in-depth analysis of end-user department processes, information gathering, and technical challenges in the context of design and construction choices. Conducts intricate qualitative and quantitative assessments on gathered data and information during the process of collecting application requirements. Proficient in converting business or clinical requirements into system configurations and validating workflows.
Evaluates, comprehends, and transforms the operational and medical features into configurations for the system and validations for workflow.
Plans, readies, and carries out test scripts for various types of testing like application testing, new release testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Records test outcomes, design, change management, system issues, and internal protocols as per organizational guidelines.
Offers technical assistance for intricate applications, including support, issue prioritization, and problem-solving. Supervises system performance to ensure optimal data quality, efficiency, and integrity, promptly escalating any issues or challenges that arise.
Stays informed about emerging technical ideas and solutions and how they can be utilized in the healthcare industry. Helps in deploying and maintaining third-party software systems.
Brings the essential expertise and understanding needed to guarantee seamless integration of the application with other cross-functional software used by the company.
Provides support in guiding and overseeing project operations and/or specific project assignments.
Carries out additional responsibilities as required.
