This position encompasses 1st shift openings for Environmental Services at Moses Cone, Wesley Long
The Environmental Service Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms, treatment areas, bathrooms, and common areas following hospital standards to address the service requirements of the medical facility. Operating under tight supervision, this position is focused on preventing the spread of diseases by complying with the cleanliness and infection control guidelines set by external regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities:
Documents were utilized to accurately record cleaning activities on the proper forms.
Effectively communicates with the supervisor to provide updates on current tasks and address any complicated or pressing matters.
Assists in tracking supply quantities to ensure alignment with departmental supply requirements and financial objectives.
Assists in the upkeep of equipment and storage spaces to guarantee smooth departmental operations by promoting cleanliness and functionality.
Takes care of and eliminates carpet stains proactively to uphold a tidy look for visitors and clients.
Supports in choosing and utilizing cleaning products and tools to prevent harm and ensure efficient cleaning for minimizing health hazards.
Carries out additional tasks as required.
