Job Description
Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is tasked with delivering superior patient care and ensuring favorable patient results through the compassionate and efficient utilization of nursing knowledge. Operating under general direction, this role promotes the enhancement of professional nursing practice by managing patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Reviews patient requirements and health conditions in the designated unit to offer precise nursing care that caters to the individual needs of each patient.
Scrutinizes patient data, comprising past medical records, test results, and existing condition, to formulate tailored nursing care designs.
Delivers comprehensive and efficient patient care by carrying out nursing procedures such as medication administration and treatments.
Checks medical documents for precision and adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal protocols.
Reviews patient responses to interventions and pinpoints any supplementary interventions required to attain specified care goals.
Works collectively with a diverse care team to formulate comprehensive care plans for patients.
Executes other duties as mandated.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- 1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred:
- 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
