Overview:
The Nursing Secretary position is crucial in delivering support for administrative tasks to maintain the efficient functioning of the institution. Duties include assisting Nursing staff with various rudimentary functions centered around organization and communication. Acting under the guidance of superiors, duties consist of organizing records, drafting communications, generating reports and paperwork, managing schedules for coordinating meetings, categorizing incoming correspondence, producing billing statements, and delivering general assistance to colleagues.
Responsibilities:
Ensures departmental success by completing tasks within agreed-upon timelines.
Participates in endeavors that aim to improve the organization, with a specific emphasis on the nursing staff.
Supports the nursing staff in securing essential supplies and resources to enhance patient care.
Ensures that medical documentation undergoes thorough quality assurance evaluations and is stored in an orderly manner.
Updates healthcare policy and procedure documentation and service manuals to maintain their currency and effectiveness.
Undertakes extra obligations as instructed.
