Overview:
A Registered Nurse (RN) is tasked with delivering top-notch patient care and securing successful patient results by employing nursing expertise with compassion and proficiency. Within a framework of general oversight, this position enhances professional nursing norms by orchestrating patient care through the nursing process and collaboration with various healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates patient requirements and conditions within the allocated department to deliver nursing care effectively, ensuring each patient receives the proper attention.
- Studies patient records, encompassing medical history, diagnostic outcomes, and existing health status, to design tailored nursing care blueprints.
- Coordinates nursing interventions, such as medication dispensing and treatments, for comprehensive and effective patient support.
- Checks medical records for precision and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational procedures.
- Observes the patient's reaction to implemented strategies and identifies any further interventions required to achieve desired care goals.
- Engages with a multidisciplinary healthcare group to secure efficient care plan development.
- Performs additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
