Job Description
Overview:
The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care in a clinic setting. Working under close supervision, this role collaborates with physicians or APP providers to ensure an efficient and safe clinic environment is promoted through well-defined clinical processes and an adherence to established protocols. The Clinic RN will also perform administrative work as needed, such as reconciling information across various healthcare documents, including patient records, physician notes, diagnostic reports, and treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Inspects clinical procedures, protocols, and practices to validate their compliance with organizational standards and regulatory provisions.
- Conducts thorough evaluations, administers medications and therapies, and monitors patient conditions to promote optimal health outcomes through direct patient care.
- Directs and evaluates the work of junior-level workers, supplying guidance, assessments, and reinforcement to ensure excellent care provision and foster career enhancement.
- Facilitating collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to orchestrate patient care, promote communication efficiency, and uphold consistent care standards in diverse healthcare environments.
- Follows through with any other responsibilities given.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
