Overview:
5 Midwest Renal Telemetry (Moses Cone) is a 21 bed Med-surg unit that cares primarily for adult renal patients as well as providing Med-Surg level of care and telemetry monitoring for our patients.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is tasked with providing exceptional patient care and securing positive patient outcomes by applying nursing knowledge with compassion and efficiency. This role operates under general supervision and advances professional nursing practice by organizing patient care through the nursing process and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assesses patient needs and health conditions within the allocated unit to provide personalized nursing care ensuring each patient receives appropriate attention.
- Evaluates patient data, involving medical background, diagnostic findings, and present condition, to formulate personalized nursing care plans.
- Provides nursing procedures, such as medication administering and treatments to supply all-encompassing and efficient patient care.
- Reviews and reconciles medical records to verify their accuracy and alignment with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Assessing patient responsiveness to interventions and determining additional measures necessary to reach defined care objectives.
- Collaborates with professionals from different disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care planning.
- Carries out any other delegated responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred:
1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
