Job Description
The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) is tasked with delivering quality care to patients in a clinic environment. With supervision, this position works closely with physicians or APP providers to uphold a safe and efficient clinic atmosphere by following clear clinical processes and established protocols. Administrative duties are also included, which could involve consolidating information across different healthcare records, including patient files, physician notes, diagnostic reports, and treatment plans.
Essential Job Function:
- Scrutinizes medical procedures, protocols, and practices to confirm compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Provides direct patient care; conducts comprehensive assessments, administers medications and treatments, and monitors patients' conditions to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Manages and evaluates the performance of lower-ranking team members, providing coaching, assessments, and encouragement to ensure quality care delivery and professional advancement.
- Coordinates with interdisciplinary teams to streamline patient care, enhance communication, and maintain continuity of care across multiple healthcare settings.
- Carries out additional assignments as provided.
Education:
- Required: Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience:
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
