Job Description

Overview:

In the role of a Nurse Manager, one oversees a team of competent professionals who are responsible for delivering high-caliber nursing services. This position involves supervising the implementation of policies and strategies to achieve immediate outcomes and leading the execution of significant divisional, departmental, or cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs a team of seasoned professionals to ensure the provision of high-caliber services.
  • Manages the implementation of critical sector-specific, departmental, or collaborative projects, setting distinct benchmarks, objectives, and anticipations to facilitate the smooth flow of communication and achievement of results.
  • Supervises the team in designing and rolling out systems that are compliant with corporate policies and industry best practices.
  • Sanctions chances and advice for heightened practices, leveraging expertise and perceptions to optimize results and efficiency.
  • Undertakes supplementary duties as instructed.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

EXPERIENCE:

Required: 5 years as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:

Required:

Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state

BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
