Job Description
In a clinical setting, the Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) gives nursing aid and works alongside the assessment of patient needs. This job involves documenting patient information, implementing suggestions, and managing administrative tasks to aid in providing quality patient care.
Essential Job Function:
- Helps healthcare teams in delivering patient care by arranging examination room setups, collecting vital signs, recording medical backgrounds, and maintaining patient documentation.
- Assesses healthcare practitioners' guidance, such as drug prescriptions, specialist referrals, and diagnostic procedures, to confirm their accuracy and efficient processing.
- Supplies patient guidance and support by elaborating on treatment schemes, medications, and post-treatment directives, addressing any uncertainties or inquiries.
- Tasks include scheduling appointments, updating patient records, overseeing medical supplies, and assisting with insurance claims and billing procedures.
- Providing support to healthcare professionals during appointments and clinic visits, offering important patient information to aid in personalized treatment plans.
- Completes extra assignments as delegated.
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and Diploma Practical Nursing
Experience Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure: Successfully pass NC Nursing Boards for LPN and maintain a current and continuous unrestricted LPN License.BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
